| Description: | The event could be cancelled only because of hard rain, but I don't like to cancel events if I don't have to. Please come prepared for wet/muddy conditions and dress accordingly. Please bring a rain jacket for your own comfort. Note: At this site the first Saturday of each odd month – January, March, May, July, September, and November (unless otherwise notified) Activity: Canyon Care. Please bring water, a hat (if needed), wear sunscreen (if needed), closed-toed shoes are a must. All gloves and tools provided as necessary. Directions: Exit I-15 at Friars Rd. and take it West. Turn right (North) onto Mission Village Dr. Turn left (South) on Ruffin Rd. Road dead-ends into Ruffin Canyon. Parking is in the Taft Middle School parking lot. Meet at the tree.
